The Notre Dame Fighting Irish won’t be able to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in the championship game this year. Not after the USC Trojans dominated the Irish right from the start yesterday. While last year’s USC – Notre Dame match went back and forth and proved to be a fight to the finish, this sequel just couldn’t live up to the predecessor.
Fighting Irish Quarterback Brady Quinn finished his career 0 for 4 against the Trojans and dashed any hopes at winning the Heisman Trophy after finishing 22 for 45 with 274 yards and 3 touchdowns, most of those numbers coming from Notre Dame’s scramble to get back in it during the second half.

We’re going to have to wait and see which Bowl game the Irish will have the chance to take-part in. In the meantime, Notre Dame Football Tickets are available for next season. The Irish open at home on September 1 against Georgia Tech. Ticket prices run anywhere from $383 to $1,353. USC will come to Notre Dame on October 20. Fans looking to catch the rematch can get tickets now for anywhere from $648 to $2,059.
