Notre Dame Fighting Irish Recruiting for Next Season

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish may be out of the running after losing to USC this past weekend, but the Irish have just begun the recruitment process for next season so that they can have another stab at the championship game. Notre Dame Football Tickets are already available.

Recruitment is a critical component of keeping any program fresh and fighting fit. If Notre Dame is to have a shot at winning it all next season, there are going to be a lot of holes that need to be filled after this year’s senior class graduates. One of the problems that recruiters at Notre Dame are already starting to notice is that recruitment may be challenging after the USC loss. The best high school players want to go to the best football schools and Notre Dame, while certainly ranked among the best, may not be seen as the best by the best high school prospects. In other words, the hottest high school players would prefer to go to USC over Notre Dame.

One of the most highly touted high school prospects is Taylor Dever out of Nevada Union. Notre Dame has offered him a full scholarship, becoming the 14th Division I school to offer him a scholarship.
