Notre Dame has always seemed to have the edge on USC, Michigan, Florida State and LSU when it comes to having God on the right side, but now they have Christ as well. Actually, I’m referring to Dayne Crist, the 6’4’’ high school quarterback from Sherman Oaks, California. But we can still be pretty sure that JC is on our side also.
One of the nation’s top prospects, Dayne Crist already has the size and throwing strength to be one of the best QBs in the nation. It was widely known that Michigan, USC, Florida State, and LSU all were hot and bothered by Crist. All were heavily recruiting. What seems like the biggest surprise is that he decided not to go to USC, a school within a short drive from his Southern California house. Instead, he signed with ND.
Crist may or may not end up being the immediate successor to Brady Quinn, but one thing is sure: the top recruiting schools in the nation all think this guy has some outstanding potential.
If you’d like to see if Crist can really walk on water like everybody is saying he can, then you ought to get some Notre Dame Football tickets for a game or two next season. Check out StubHub.com, your source for great college football tickets.
