Clausen to Undergo Elbow Procedure

Jimmy Clausen, the highly touted Notre Dame quarterback hopeful, will reportedly undergo an elbow procedure this week. The specific cause is unknown, though sources close to Clausen know that he has had bone spurs in his elbow as recently as January.
In Clausen’s last year of high school, he played through an injury to his arm, and was considering a treatment for it in the future. A team spokesman for the University of Notre Dame reported that Jimmy Clausen would be ready for the beginning of fall practice on August 6th.
