A few days ago Mark Schlabach of ESPN.com went through the 2007 schedules of all of the NCAA football teams and determined that Notre Dame has one of the top 10 most difficult schedules. In fact, Notre Dame made number 10 on the list, with Washington, Florida State and South Carolina at the top of the list.
Schlabach notes that the Fighting Irish will do battle with several top ranked teams, including Georgia Tech, USC, Michigan, Penn State, Boston College and UCLA. Their easiest game will be at home against Duke. They will also face off against two military academies. If you really want to see an Irish victory, then you should consider those three games. Otherwise, there are going to be a lot of close games in 2007.
This is a good thing for those of you who are going to be getting Notre Dame Fighting Irish football tickets at StubHub.com. Probably the best game of the bunch will be the home opener against USC, one of the best college football teams in recent years, and probably the Irish’s most hated rivals. If you would like to travel to see the team, then consider getting tickets to watch the Irish take on the Wolverines in another traditional rivalry game at Michigan.
