Yesterday we gave you the top two Notre Dame home games, in our own humble opinion, for you to get Notre Dame Fighting Irish Football tickets to attend. Seeing a game at Notre Dame Stadium, with all of the passion, history, and excitement of game day in South Bend, is like almost nothing else in sports today. Of course, some fans of the Irish cannot travel all the way to Notre Dame, and some would like to see them compete on the road at other great venues. This is fine with us, but just remember that you will have to get your tickets at the home team’s StubHub.com page to do that. So here they are, the best two ND road games to see in 2007-08:
September 15 at Michigan. The Irish have a long-standing and fierce rivalry with the Wolverines. If there is one school that knows how to make the atmosphere on game day electric (besides the Irish) it is probably the University of Michigan. If you show up in Notre Dame gear, be prepared to take some guff, but you will get to see one heck of a game played at a school that is crazy about football.
November 24th at Stanford. This second game I chose over away games at Perdue, Penn State and UCLA, more traditional rivals with Notre Dame. Here’s why: The Irish have a very tough schedule this year, so when they see a team like the Cardinal at the end of the season, you know the players will put forth their best effort to make a case for a bowl game. If you want to see the Irish win on the road, where better to do it than in beautiful Palo Alto, California?
