Notre Dame Coaching Preview

The University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish will have some mighty fine coaches on the sidelines this year, at least so says the NCAA football analysts at ESPN.com. In association with Blue Ribbon College Football Yearbook, ESPN has given the Notre Dame coaching staff a very positive review and preview heading in to the season this next year. The way they see it, Weis has surrounded himself with assistant coaches and coordinators who understand the unique position that Notre Dame football players are in, and, most of all, know how to succeed.

For example, Weis brought in a quarterback coach, Ron Powlus, who used to be one of the most highly anticipated Notre Dame QBs of all time. Powlus had, by most standards, an amazing career in South Bend, and could impart a lot of personal knowledge on a player like Jimmy Clausen, who might well receive the reigns of the Fighting Irish offense this fall after being one of the most sought-after high school football players in the country.

Where Weis lacks in experience at playing the game, his assistants can fill in. You will get to see the coaches on the sideline this year when you got to StubHub.com to get Notre Dame Fighting Irish football tickets.
