Weis’ “The New Gold Standard”

If you are familiar with the University of Notre Dame’s head coach Charlie Weis, then you are probably aware that he wrote a book about his first few seasons coaching at Notre Dame. The book is called “The New Gold Standard: Charlie Weis and Notre Dame’s Rise to Glory.” For fans of Notre Dame, there is no better read than one that talks about how good the teams is, the optimistic representation of where they are going to go in the future, and how the Irish have struggled in the past to get where they are today.

Of course, if you read the reviews, you will see that many people, especially those who are not fans of the Fighting Irish, do not consider “glory” to be an accurate description of where the Irish are right now. You can pick up the book in most of the bid bookstore chains or at an online site, such as Amazon.com, eBay, or even the Notre Dame website. After you get the book, you can read it and be a judge for yourself.
