Notre Dame Begins Big East Play Tomorrow!

The Notre Dame Blog has not been around much this holiday season, but rest assured, we are going to come at you in 2008 even more dedicated to giving you the best, most ticket-oriented Notre Dame football, basketball and other athletic news and commentary that you deserve. Over the winter break, the men’s basketball team was busy getting wins stored up for the tough road ahead. The non-conference schedule is over. Now comes the treacherous Big East. The Irish will play West Virginia at home tomorrow, marking their first game against a conference opponent this year. The Irish are on a 28-game home winning streak, and an eight-game win streak this year. The West Virginia Mountaineers have an identical overall record as the Irish, 10-2. Certainly this will be one of the toughest games that Notre Dame has played all season, so you should make sure you’re at the Joyce Center to cheer on the Irish for this one.
