ESPN’s feature “Conversation” this week has to do with determining the “face” of the program. What that means, basically, is discussing what face best emblemizes Notre Dame Football. Who do you think of when you think of the Fighting Irish? For most fans who participated in the discussion, the “face” was that of Knute Rockne, the legendary coach of Notre Dame during the 1930s.
