Nose Tackle Returns to Notre Dame

June 26, 2008

Pat Kuntz, the starting nose tackle for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team last season, is returning to the school. He left the University last semester for personal reasons. However, he has enrolled in summer school, and now intends to enroll as a full time student this fall, when classes resume.

Pat was seventh on the team in tackles last year. He fell to injury at the tail end of the season, but was a very effective pass rusher and run-stopper. The Irish will need him if they are going to get anything better out of their defense this upcoming seaosn. The Notre Dame Blog would like to wish Pat the best of luck. Glad you’re back. We’ve got a lot of work to do, but the future looks a little brighter now that you’re here.
