Weis Fields Questions with Other Top Coaches

The Coaches Tour, which we have talked about before at the Notre Dame Blog, has been going on for some time, and there is a lot to discuss. Five of the nation’s top college football coaches, Mark Richt of Georgia, Randy Shannon of Miami, Jack Siedlecki of Yale, Tommy Tuberville of Auburn and Charlie Weis of Notre Dame, went to the Middle East and visited the troops, then came back home to do more speaking events and other military visits. They even met the President. One thing that us Notre Dame football fans love is the question and answer segments. Our favorite Charlie Weis quote from the Ivan Maisel ESPN article about the game?

Q: What was your favorite win from your coaching career?

A: My biggest win as a coach at Notre Dame hasn’t occurred yet.

That’s good to hear. Weis is still looking for that career-defining win at Notre Dame, even though he’s already been a part of a Super Bowl victory- and there is no higher level in the sport.
