The Notre Dame women’s soccer team continues to roll on its way through the NCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament. Today the Irish play in the sweet sixteen against the No. 22 ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers. As you might know if you’ve been following the soccer season, Notre Dame entered the tournament as the No. 1 team in the nation, the No. 1 seed in their division. Expectations are very high, but the Irish have so far lived up to the expectations. They play at home tonight on Alumni Field, so if you’re looking to see some excellent soccer, head on out to the soccer field to cheer on the Irish.
Also, the Notre Dame football team is preparing to play Syracuse this Saturday at Notre Dame Stadium. The game is sold out, but as you’re probably aware, there are places you can go to get tickets to the game even when the event is sold out (hint, hint). The Irish are expected to win this one, as Syracuse is not a very good team, and the Irish are playing at home.
