Notre Dame Cross Country

It’s fall, and that means that it’s football season. But we don’t have to dedicate 100% of the sports coverage to Jimmy Clausen, Golden Tate and the rest of the Irish football players, do we?  Nah! Let’s celebrate some of the other fantastic student athletes that are helping to bring Notre Dame athletic glory in every kind of competition. Today, let’s look at the Notre Dame cross country team.

Cross Country doesn’t get a lot of attention or notoriety, but these are some fantastic student-athletes. Check out their Twitter page here for all the latest and greatest news and tidbits from the UND XC team. Also, if you’re interested in getting an up-close look at the team, and dozens of the fastest teams throughout the nation, come on out to the Notre Dame Invitational. This is one of the most prestigious college cross country meets throughout the whole season.
